Done for you · runs alongside your ATS
A commission tracker for your staffing agency — one your recruiters actually trust.
Splits, draws, and clawbacks settled by rule in a live Google Sheets dashboard, so nobody argues the math and month-end stops eating your Friday. $650 flat — and the first build is free to see.

Illustrative sample — not a real client. Your build runs on your desk’s own rules and numbers. Splits, draws, and clawback windows are settled the way you pay.
The problem
The commission sheet is where trust goes to die
You know the spreadsheet. Perm placements calculated one way, contract spread another, splits jammed into a column nobody agrees on. A recruiter pings you: “My number’s wrong.” You open the file on a Friday afternoon and you’re reconciling draws against earned commission by hand, chasing which placements are still inside the guarantee window, trying to remember who owned the client versus who sourced the candidate.
Here’s the part that actually costs you: a recruiter who doesn’t trust their commission number is a recruiter who’s already taking the recruiter call. And you can’t see, at a glance, who on the desk is actually profitable.
The real problem isn’t the math. It’s that nobody trusts the math.
This fixes that. One live dashboard where the rules are written down and the numbers update themselves — so the answer to “is my number right?” is a link, not an argument.
What you get
What a commission dashboard for recruiters actually shows
Send me how your desk pays and I’ll build a live dashboard that runs it — self-updating, transparent, and readable by the recruiter it’s paying. Depending on your setup, that means:
- Per-recruiter earned / pending / paid — every placement in the right state, so “what am I owed?” has one clear answer instead of a guess.
- Perm and contract handled separately — percentage-of-salary perm fees and recurring bill-pay-spread margin on contractors, each on its own logic, on one sheet.
- Splits settled by rule — client-owner and candidate-sourcer shares calculated the way your desk agreed, automatically, so the #1 source of commission disputes stops being a debate.
- Draw & guarantee balances reconciled — draws netted against earned commission, with the balance a recruiter owes back if they under-earn shown plainly.
- Clawback / fall-off flags — placements still inside their 30/60/90-day guarantee window flagged as at-risk, so a candidate who quits doesn’t quietly turn into a commission you already paid out.
- A payout-ready summary — the month-end number per recruiter, reconciled and ready to hand to whoever cuts checks.
- An AI weekly note — a short plain-English summary emailed to you every week: what changed, what’s pending, what’s at risk.
Price: $650 flat. One number, agreed before I build anything — no hourly meter, no per-seat pricing, no surprise invoice. It’s my Automated Dashboard built for a recruiting desk. It runs alongside your ATS — it’s not an ATS replacement, it’s the trusted commission layer on top of whatever you already use. Lives in a Google Sheets dashboard, self-updating, readable on a phone the second a recruiter asks.
The free part
See your own numbers in it before you pay a dollar
Before you spend anything, I’ll build a working piece of this on your real commission data — free.
-
Send me a messy month.
Export a recent commission sheet — or just describe how your desk pays: perm split, contract margin, draws, whatever it is. Two minutes of your time.
-
I build a working slice in about a day.
You get back a real, live dashboard tab on your own numbers — splits calculated, a clawback flag or two lit up — usually within one business day. Not a mockup, not a slide.
-
Keep it either way.
Like it? Pick the $650 flat build and I’ll turn it into the full desk dashboard. Not for you? Keep the demo free — no hard feelings, no follow-up sequence.
That’s the whole process. No discovery call, no proposal to read, no contract before you’ve seen your own commissions running in it. You can also see a live sample dashboard first if you’d rather look before you send anything.
Who you’re working with
Who’s actually building it
I’m Colin McCarthy, and Automated Workflow is me — the person who answers your email is the person who builds your dashboard. No account managers, no offshore hand-off, no ticket queue. That matters here, because commission logic is where the details bite, and you want the person who understands your split rules to be the one writing them down.
- A real person in Gainesville, FL — building for staffing desks and small businesses everywhere in the US, all over email and Google Sheets.
- Your data stays private. Recruiter names, pay rates, and margins are never shared, never used for anything else, and deleted after the demo. NDA available on request — just ask before you send.
- I answer my own phone. Want to talk through how your desk pays before you send a file? Call or text and you get me, not a menu.
- No stack of reviews to point to yet — which is exactly why the first build is free. You see it run on your own commission numbers before a dollar changes hands, and you keep it either way. That’s the proof, and it’s on me, not you.
